The show, led by Walton Goggins, unfolds in a post-apocalyptic Los Angeles, initially centered around Vault 33, a significant locale in the games. Notably, the series aligns with the game's official canon. The ensemble cast includes Ella Purnell, Kyle MacLachlan, and Xelia Mendes-Jones. Behind the scenes, executive producers Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner, alongside Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy of "Westworld," ensure an authentic adaptation. Anticipation is high for this faithful rendering of a beloved gaming universe.

Star Citizen’s Squadron 42 is Now “Feature Complete”

Star Citizen developer Cloud Imperium Games (CIG) announced that the long-awaited Squadron 42 campaign is now "feature complete" a decade after its inception. Initially part of a 2012 Kickstarter campaign, it evolved into a standalone narrative. Despite numerous delays, the game boasts a star-studded cast, including Mark Hamill, Gary Oldman, and Gillian Anderson. With beta and release in progress, a specific launch window remains unconfirmed. Star Citizen, though contentious, has garnered a staggering $616,272,619 from over 4.8 million accounts, showcasing its enduring financial support. Squadron 42's completion marks a significant milestone in this ambitious project.

Twitch Now Allows Simulcasting on YouTube & Kick

At the 2023 Las Vegas TwitchCon, CEO Dan Clancy unveiled new simulcasting rules, allowing creators to broadcast on multiple platforms like YouTube, Kick, and Rumble with specific limitations. This marks a significant shift for the Amazon-owned streaming giant, which faced backlash for restricting multi-streaming on certain sites. Twitch's policies on exclusivity and simulcasting have evolved over the past year. In August 2022, they lifted the exclusivity clause but prohibited simultaneous streaming on platforms like YouTube and Kick. Strict guidelines must be followed, including no redirecting viewers away from Twitch and maintaining stream quality. Prominent streamers like Ninja and xQc stand to benefit from this policy change, and the community has largely welcomed the shift.
